Desira Group has moved its Suzuki Norwich dealership into a new showroom as it drives the creation of multi-brand car retail sites.

The Norfolk based car retail group moved its operations with the Japanese car brand to Heigham Street, Norwich, from its previous location on Vulcan Road – its second franchise with Suzuki when it opened at the start of 2018.

Steve Prew, network development manager at Suzuki GB, said: “The Desira Group have delivered a fantastic new Suzuki facility in Norwich and it looks amazing.

“Congratulations to the Desira team and thank-you for your ongoing support.”

Desira’s latest dealership development sees Suzuki move into part of a dealership facility also occupied by Stellantis Fiat and Abarth.

It comes just three months after the group moved its Fiat, Citroën, Abarth and Alfa Romeo into a new shared site at Bury St Edmunds.

The group describes both the new Suzuki location and the former Marshall Motor Group Ford facility now home to four Stellantis brands as being “more spacious and comfortable” than their previous homes.

“The new location allows us to provide a greater service for all of our customers,” the group said of its new Suzuki dealership.

“This means a dedicated Suzuki service centre, better customer parking facilities and more room for new and used cars.”

Desira Group represents 10 car franchises in Norwich, Diss, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Bury St Edmunds.

In January 2019 it joined the MG Motor UK franchise with a new dealership in Diss.
