The UK’s Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles network has expanded to 72 locations following investment by Lookers and Snows Group.
The two new Volkswagen van centres are Lookers Glasgow and Snows Group Plymouth. Meanwhile, Parkway Volkswagen Leicester has undergone a complete redevelopment which has expanded its showroom and service workshop.
Rose Butterworth, head of customer quality and network development for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, said: ‘I’m delighted with the new additions to our Van Centre network. The openings not only underline our investors’ confidence in our brand, but also mean more customers are closer to one of our specialist outlets.
‘We sold a record number of vehicles in the UK in 2015 (43,286 units according to SMMT data), and with this comes a responsibility to work in partnership with our customers throughout the life of those vehicles.
“We understand the importance of vans to any businesses, and our promise to all our customers is to provide them with the advice, support and expertise to keep their businesses moving.’
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles now has a nationwide network of 72 dedicated Van Centres and 24 Authorised Repairers, staffed by commercial vehicle experts who understand the needs of their customers.
