Supercar brand Automobili Lamborghini will mark its 60th birthday in 2023 with a schedule of events backed by the carmaker and its retailers.

Silverstone Circuit will be the venue for Lamborghini Day UK on April 29, which is expected to attract more than 300 owners and collectors of the iconic supercars and hundreds more fans and enthusiasts.

That event is held just a week before Automobili Lamborghini's official 60th anniversary. The company was established on May 6, 1963 in Bologna, Italy.

The UK is a critical market for its supercars, and Lamborghini has increased its dealer network here more than sixfold in the last decade, with AM100 dealers such as Cambria and Parks Motor Group joining its network.

Other events have been scheduled for Japan, Italy, the USA and China, which are all significant markets for Lamborghini.

Automobili Lamborghini said each event is unique but all will be engaging customers and their Lamborghinis, the official Lamborghini Clubs, and the dealerships and fans.

The official Lamborghini Clubs around the world, now present in 24 countries with more than 1600 members, are also planning anniversary tours and events in their respective countries, as well as a number of tours in Italy with their final destination the Lamborghini headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese.

Last year Francesco Cresci, Automobili Lamborghini regional director for EMEA, told AM: “Lamborghini continues to grow its market in the UK, which is currently the fourth largest in the world in terms of deliveries to customers.

"As we continue to debut exciting new models, including the Urus S1 announced today, and move towards introduction of new hybrid products from 2023, we thank our dealership partners for their commitment and loyalty.”

Lamborghini franchisees have begun the adoption of a new corporate identity, which was revealed in February 2022.
