The Ford Fiesta comes out on top, with a total of 1,361 listings, followed by the BMW 3 Series (1,283) and post-2018 Mercedes A-Class (1,278). The Volkswagen Golf and Range Rover Evoque complete the top five, with 1,200 and 1,103 listings each.

The pre-2018 Mercedes A-Class placed sixth with 1,018 listings, followed by the Nissan Qashqai (901) and Fiat 500 (877). The Audi A3 (860) and Mercedes C-Class (859) complete the top 10.

Since Carwow launched its stock-sourcing auctions in 2021, it has helped add over 115,000 used vehicles to dealer forecourts, with a combined value of more than £1.5 billion.

Recently, Carwow revealed that the Jaguar F-Pace was the vehicle with the most profit potential on its auction platform, with an average possible margin of £4,721. Analysis showed an SUV-heavy top 10, led by premium brands with margins growing on Carwow due to robust vetting of quality and low buyer fees.

Sally Foote, Carwow’s chief commercial officer - Sell My Car, said: “This data shows just the volume of premium car brands being listed on our site, as well as the number of the UK’s most ever-popular models we’re seeing on the platform. This year, we’ve listed everything from supercars to commercial vans and everything in between.

“We know vehicle condition is really important, that's why we've introduced numerous product enhancements this year, including the way we capture and display damage information, collecting much more detail from sellers to create an enhanced view of a vehicle’s condition to give our partners ultimate confidence in their purchases.”

The news comes as Carwow recently announced it has moved to a ‘round the clock’ bidding model, giving dealers earlier bidding access to carwow’s used-car auctions. Auctions now run from 5.00pm to 3.30pm the next day.

The company also revealed it was keeping its auctions open over the festive season, with auctions being hosted every day up to and including Saturday 23 December, and then again between Wednesday 27 December and Saturday 30 December. After a brief New Year hiatus, Carwow’s daily auctions will resume on Tuesday 2 January.
