Wessex Garages has marked out its intentions to pursue internet engagement with the appointment of a new digital sales executive for its Bristol dealership.

Andrew Crowther has been charged with maintaining the portfolio of vehicles on the company website, as well as seller’s sites like Auto Trader, and also handle the social media for the dealership on Hayes Way, Cribb’s Causeway.

Crowther said: “I’m thrilled to have been given this opportunity to work at Wessex Garages’ Nissan brand centre. “

University of Plymouth graduate, Crowther, has a contemporary creative practice degree but worked in garages as a mechanic’s assistant during his teens.

He said: “I have been working in the hospitality industry since moving to Bristol and I am so thankful that I can now finally start my career in the motor industry. It’s been something I’ve wanted to do for years.”

Simon Newson, general manager at Wessex Garages, said: “I would like to welcome Andrew to the Wessex Garages’ team. He is very enthusiastic person and will be a great team player in our busy dealership.”
