Ex-Google boss for the Nordic regions Jonas Vang Gregersen has joined WhoCanFixMyCar.com as chief product officer.

He said: “Our role is to drive competitive pricing for the consumer while awarding and promoting the high quality work delivered by the garages.

“We’re looking to become the go-to marketplace for everything related to service and repairs which is a very real proposition to achieve.”

Vang Gregorson (pictured) worked at a Nordic furniture company before moving to Denmark electronic retailer FONA and then onto management consulting. He was then offered a job at Google as business operations manager in charge of Nordic operations, covering; Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Gregersen then moved to London to work at the Google EMEA HQ.

Jonas went on to hold an evolving position at LateRooms.com with directorships for the user experience, search, and consumer product functions before moving to travel company, Tui Travel, as product and marketing director.

After four years working in the travel industry, Gregersen was approached by WhoCanFixMyCar.com.

Currently, WhoCanFixMyCar.com has more than 450,000 registered drivers and a network of over 9,000 garage members. In 2016, £120 million worth of repair and service work was sent to garages from WhoCanFixMyCar motorists.

“The challenge is scaling the business without losing the spirit of the company and the passion of employees. We don’t want to turn into ‘just another company’, we want to keep what is unique about WhoCanFixMyCar.”
