New epyx managing director Aditya Varadpande has said that he will “build on the company’s achievements” to drive growth for the motor industry e-commerce specialist.

Varadpande, who joined the company in 2015 as director of international business, growth and marketing, following its acquisition by FLEETCOR in late 2013 will report to Alan King, president of FLEETCOR UK and Australasia.

He previously held a number of key positions in sales, marketing, and product management across Europe, epyx said in a statement.

Varadpande said: “epyx and its 1link suite of products have evolved and become the heartbeat of large fleet operators and garage network operations.

“The team at epyx are incredibly proud of our products and have built an excellent reputation with the client base.

“We’ll be looking to build on the company’s achievements by continuing to work closely with our fleet clients, garage network and wider 1link community.

“1link platform development will be at the top of our agenda and we’ll be looking to innovate further with new technology and new thinking.”

Alan King said: “I am delighted that Aditya has taken on the post of managing director. During his time at epyx, he has led new growth initiatives and played a key role in the international expansion of the business.

“With Aditya’s background and his time in the industry, I have no doubt he’ll be instrumental in driving the innovations needed to further develop epyx and its products to meet the changing automotive and leasing industry.”
