DealTrak hires new sales director and expands business development team

DealTrak, the motor industry F&I platform, has appointed three new executives to its business development team to help build on a period of growth.

Ian Tinker, Lisa Watson and Hilton Austin have all joined the business in senior roles.

Tinker has been appointed as DealTrak’s new sales director and joins from Volkswagen Financial Services where he held a variety of senior leadership roles, must recently as commercial projects director.

Tinker will sit on the DealTrak management team and report directly to managing director Martin Hill.

Watson and Austin will form the backbone of Tinker’s newly formed business development team.

Watson is an online F&I sales and compliance specialist and has worked at senior levels directly for finance companies and dealer groups for over 20 years.

Austin has over 25 years motor trade experience covering disciplines across dealer, concessionaire, OEM and more recently software as a service business.

Hill said: “Not only is their combined automotive F&I experience both wide-reaching and multidisciplinary, but each of them has a deep understanding of how to add measurable value to a motor dealer's business.”
