Vindis Motor Group has promoted Nathan Rook to the post of head of business and Paul Garratt into the role of group used car manager.

Rook (pictured), formerly aftersales manager and general manager at Gates Ford, joins the Vindis Service Centre in Cambridge Research Park as its new head of business.

His new role will see him assuming daily operational control of all aftersales functions across Vindis Skoda Cambridge and playing a significant role in shaping the strategic thinking around the Future Retailing Concepts for Volkswagen Group, Vindis said in a statement.

“The development of the Skoda brand over the last decade has been extremely impressive, so I am really excited to be joining Vindis Group to continue driving the momentum,” said Rook.

Vindis Group’s managing director, Jamie Vindis, said: “I am confident Nathan will deliver on the potential of this business with his invaluable expertise and experience as Skoda readies itself for its next phase of substantial growth plans.”

In addition, the Group has announced the promotion of Paul Garratt as used car manager at its head office in Huntingdon.

Garratt joined as a used car buyer in 2012, prior to making the movie to senior purchase and stock manager in late 2017.

Vindis said: “Paul has a wealth of passion and strategies for further improving the Group’s used car performance throughout 2019 and beyond, so it was a natural decision to promote him to used car manager.

"Bolstering the senior management team is an extremely positive investment for Vindis, and I look forward to supporting Nathan and Paul in their successes.”
