Former Notcutts chairman and Marks & Spencers director Nicky Dulieu has taken up her new post on the board of Marshall Motor Holdings.

The high street retail specialist joined the AM100 retail group as a non-executive director and chair of remuneration committee with the effect from January 1.

Dulieu was most recently chairman of the Notcutts garden centre business but has also held the posts of chief operating officer and chief executive at Hobbs Ltd and previously spent 23 years in Marks & Spencer in financial roles, including finance director of the Food Division.

Commenting on her appoint to the Marshall board, chairman Richard Parry-Jones said: "She brings with her a wealth of knowledge of the retail industry and strong non-executive experience, including the chairing of remuneration committees.

“On behalf of the board, I look forward to welcoming Nicky to MMH and to working with her during our next period of growth and development."

Dulieu said: “I am excited to be joining the Board of MMH during this period of evolution for the automotive retail industry.

“I look forward to working with the rest of the board to support the continued growth and success of the company.”
