ASF's new aftersales payment solution has been rolled out to 850 UK dealerships and has a total customer uptake of more than £6 million.

Auto Service Finance’s co-chief executive officer Jack Allman (pictured) said: “The growing number of dealerships rolling out our payment method is really encouraging, and shows that there is a gap in the market for this kind of funding solution.

"Providing small, structured, payments allows customers to invest in quality repairs and upgrades for their vehicles while ensuring the costs are manageable.

“While motorists benefit from algorithms that provide near instant suitability feedback and the ability to pick their payment dates, dealerships are able to sell more work in their service departments and demonstrate a degree of flexibility, which is always appreciated by customers.”

ASF has reported that recent data has shown that credit awarded to customers has now exceeded £6 million, doubling in less than 6 months as more customers begin to use the payment method.

TC Harrison Ford Peterborough’s aftersales manager Steve Hallam said: “In our first eight days using ASF it helped our customers buy an additional £3,900 of repairs, which is a win-win as it makes us easy to do business with as a dealership."
