BCA will unveil a new back-to-back auction lane facility when it officially opens its redeveloped Nottingham site with a BMW Group remarketing event on October 4.

With its expanded capacity for 500 vehicles undercover and an enhanced and larger sales programme, the sites’ debut sales event with the German premium car manufacturer follows the announcement in June that BCA Marketplace has agreed a five-year Auto Services Solutions contract with BMW (UK) Limited, which includes its specialist leasing business, Alphabet.

The agreement will see BCA provide a full range defleet, refurbishment, inspection and collection, inventory management and remarketing services.

Commenting on the opening of the Nottingham facility, Stuart Pearson, BCA chief operating officer for UK Remarketing, said: “We are delighted to announce that the expanded facilities at our BCA Nottingham remarketing and defleet centre will officially open on October 4 with the launch of a new BMW Group sales programme.

“The all-new building featuring dual back-to-back auction lanes offers buyers an improved customer experience and an even bigger choice of stock.  Our vendor customers will enjoy more opportunities to sell their stock more frequently to the UK’s biggest buyer base.”

Pearson added “The Nottingham development is part of BCA’s ongoing strategy to enhance its remarketing and defleet network across the major conurbations of the UK, with Nottingham, Bedford, Manchester and Blackbushe all offering selling capacity in excess of 100,000 vehicles annually.”

BCA said in a statement that the new BMW Group sales programme at Nottingham will offer a wide selection of models at a variety of ages and mileages.

Sales take place monthly and feature 500 vehicles that are pre-sale prepared to a high standard and offered with a BCA Assured report.
