BCA Marketplace’s executive chairman, Avril Palmer-Baunack, won the Outstanding Achievement as the remarketing specialist also claimed the Carrier of the Year awards at the seventh annual Automotive Global Awards.

The awards, which celebrate the very best in the automotive logistics and supply chain sectors, took place at The Savoy, London, on November 1.

Palmer-Baunack's Outstanding Achievement Award recognises an individual that has, over the course of his or her career, contributed significantly to the industry and been a positive influencer not only to those with whom they collaborate, but also within the wider industry as a whole.

She said: “I am exceptionally proud to receive this award, which I am delighted to accept on behalf of all the team at BCA.

"Innovation, service and partnership drives our ethos at BCA and we believe we work better, and achieve more, together.”

The Carrier of the Year Award celebrates reliability, outstanding service, and innovation and was collected by Nigel Glenn, managing director of BCA Automotive.

Glenn said: “We are delighted to win this award for the second year running and I’d like to thank the team at BCA Automotive for all their dedication and hard work.

“To meet the needs of a dynamic marketplace, we have delivered a flexible approach in terms of resource and working patterns to ensure customers have the support they need, when they need it.”

The Automotive Global Awards celebrate innovation and growth across the automotive industry by encouraging and developing individuals through the creativity of ideas, adaptation and flexibility, through planning and pioneering new ways, new thoughts and new ideas.
