Review

It might be called a Sports Coupé, but there’s nothing to indicate either on the Ibiza SC. It’s just a three-door version of the new Ibiza with no sporting or coupé credentials.

While the interior largely inherits the VW group’s solid build
quality, a light knock on the wheel adjuster to move the passenger seat sent it flying off. It’s a shame about that glitch because it’s got tight handling and a willing 1.4-litre mid-range engine.

It’s priced within reach of models like the Vauxhall Corsa and Fiat Grande Punto and things like aux socket for MP3 players will sit well with younger buyers.
