Valued at over £10 million at showroom prices, the new agreement continues the Mitsubishi relationship into its fourth year. During this time, Mitsubishi has become one of the key suppliers of vehicles to the Dollar Thrifty fleet.
Models taken include the Outlander, Shogun, Shogun sport and L200. In addition, Dollar Thrifty also purchase the Outlander SUV and the new Colt super-mini.
Andrew Wertheim, manager of national fleet & used car sales for Mitsubishi, says: “The rental and user chooser sectors of the car industry are now mirroring the retail market. Customers are becoming more selective in their requirements and our specialist products such as the Shogun, Grandis and the L200 pick-up are ideal vehicles for this market, and enhance the quality proposition of our mainstream vehicles.”
