Chrysler Group has appointed Rob Thrift as its national fleet sales manager for Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge in the UK.

Thrift will spearhead the manufacturer’s drive to increase its share of the corporate car market throughout 2007 and 2008. He brings 11 years’ experience working in commercial vehicle sales for DaimlerChrysler UK and will take charge of a team which includes three regional corporate development managers and a specialist contract hire and leasing manager.

Thrift said: “The new fleet sales team will work alongside the existing national sales team and will also liaise with a network of corporate dealer centres which are being established at 30 Chrysler Group dealers throughout the UK.

“Of particular interest will be vehicles such as the new Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger, which are due to be launched this summer,” added Thrift.
