Technicians that have been accepted into Macrae and Dick's Guild of Master Technicians have been treated to a racing day at Knockhill racing circuit as thanks for their hard work.

The Guild of Master Technicians was set up by the Macrae & Dick dealer group and only staff who has reached the highest levels of achievement can become members.

Staff had the opportunity to race against Macrae & Dick group managing director, Andrew Grzesinski on the go karting track. The group also enjoyed a session of Formula One style single seat racing and a company lunch.

To be eligible to join the Guild of Master Technicians employees need seven or more years relevant experience, and have to go through intensive training and examination.

Grzesinski said: “The creation of the new Guild of Master Technicians within Macrae & Dick gives us the opportunity to recognise the valuable contribution made by our most highly skilled technicians and thank them for it.

“It also encourages them to continue with life long learning and sets a standard for aspiring master technicians and apprentices, to give them access to and membership of a unique club.”

Macrae & Dick has Ford dealerships in Inverness, Elgin, Stirling and Perth.
