Mitsubishi Motors has agreed to transfer the production of PSA Peugeot Citroen’s 4007 and C-Crosser SUVs to Europe in January 2009 to help the manufacturer meet supply demands.

Mitsubishi’s Outlander, which is part of a three model joint venture with PSA, will stay in Japan.

The 4007 and C-Crosser are currently assembled at Mitsubishi’s Japanese factory in Mizushima but will be built for the European market at Mitsubishi’s Dutch "Ned Car" factory.
