How did you get in to the automotive business?
My father worked in the business for 40 years. I was always impressed by the cars he brought home. I always emembered my first journey in a Jensen Interceptor. I was hooked from the age of seven!

What does your job entail?
Delivery of our parts and customer satisfaction objectives through our short- to long-term customer retention strategies.

How will your job change over the next few years?
Keeping pace with new technology. Competition will become more intense.

Career to date with General Motors in a number of senior aftersales roles.

What advice would you give to someone planning to join the industry?
Take a long-term view, be decisive and don’t be afraid to let people know what you would like to do.

What’s the worst career move you’ve ever made?
Not made one.

Somewhere within Volkswagen.
