Motor trade training provider GTG, owned by the Arnold Clark Group, plans to open its new £10m academy in Wolverhampton on 8 April.

The state-of-the-art facility, which boasts a 250-seat conference room, will deliver both academic and technical training.

In a welcome boost for the local economy, GTG is recruiting now for a variety of positions, including account managers, telesales executives, NVQ assessors, business skills trainers and receptionists.

David Scott, chief executive of GTG Training, commented: “We are very excited about this new development in the West Midlands.

“Working with Wolverhampton City Council and the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, it is clear to us that we are moving into a region with an appetite for success.

“When we were shown the range of businesses that have also chosen the Wolverhampton area as their operational base, and the first class skill mix within the area, it was an easy investment choice to make.”
