The Mazda total loss avoidance programme, Mazda Save It, has been running for just over two years and is now open to the whole UK market.

David Elphick, Mazda Motors UK parts and accessories manager said: ‘We have seen great success with the programme within our own network but realise that not all Mazda vehicles will be returned to us following an accident.

"By opening up the programme we are looking to support customers, repairers and insurers with saving vehicles that would have otherwise been a write-off.’

By sending an application template giving the vehicle details, along with key repair information and how much is needed to save the vehicle, a response is sent and repairers then order the parts in the usual way from their supplying dealer and are given a credit to the agreed value once purchases are verified.
