East Lancashire Land Rover dealer Hillendale has expanded with a takeover of a Pendragon dealership.

The acquisition of Stratstone Jaguar in Bolton brings the sister brand of Land Rover to Hillendale, which is a top performer for customer service in Land Rover's network.

A total of 15 employees have transferred to Hillendale which brings its total workforce to 65.

Lancashire law firm Napthens advised Hillendale on the deal, while Pendragon was advised by Geldards.

Lee Collins, managing director of Hillendale Group said “We are delighted to have completed the purchase of Hillendale Jaguar Bolton. We are looking forward to welcoming the team in Bolton to the Hillendale family and being involved with the amazing vehicles Jaguar produce.”

It comes shortly after Pendragon sold other Jaguar and Land Rover businesses to John Clark Motor Group.
