Marshall Motor Group, the privately-owned top 10 car dealer group, has announced the appointment of Michael Hunt as head of aftersales development.

Hunt has many years of aftersales experience in the industry, including the last six years as head of aftersales for Evans Halshaw.

Daksh Gupta, Marshall's chief executive, said: “Michael is a true aftersales professional and will be completely focused on developing and delivering customer retention and operational efficiency strategies for our business.

" Over the last 6 years, Marshall has acquired more than 50 new businesses, bringing together 12 different cultures into one company. We are delighted to have Michael joining our senior team.”

Marshall has focused on attracting, retaining and developing the best talent in the industry and has recently launched its new training academy, as well as assessment centres for candidates to identify and coach the future stars for the business.
