Wigan-based dealer Corkills Volkswagen has won a national award for its outstanding levels of sales and customer service in 2015.
The business has been recognised by Volkswagen Group to be amongst the top 25 businesses in the network of 180 retailers in the UK at the annual Retailer of Excellence Awards.
The car retailer received consistently excellent feedback from its customers and staff throughout 2015 and maintained its excellent record for selling new and used cars.
The awards event, held at Silverstone, earlier this month, recognised the top performing retailers across the country welcoming the senior managers from all 180 Volkswagen businesses.
Speaking of the award Jacqui Kaye, brand manager at Corkills Volkswagen said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have secured our place in the top 25 retailers for the third time. It highlights our commitment to the highest standards of customer service, staff development and strong sales performance.
“I am extremely proud of my team and would like to thank all members of staff for their continued professionalism and enthusiasm towards their work.”
The Retailer of Excellence Awards is open to all UK Volkswagen retailers and highlights those best performing retailers in sales, customer satisfaction, after service care for customers and staff satisfaction and development.

Kaye won the AM award for dealer principal of the year in 2014.
