Dealer group Lipscomb is developing a new Volvo dealership in Maidstone, refurbishing an existing site to produce a 6,000 square foot centre set to be complete next month.

Lipscomb is investing further into the 2.5 acre site to develop a stand-alone, state-of-the-art dealership experience to encourage greater customer interaction as part of the Volvo Retail Experience programme.

The development is part of a global brand standard that Volvo Car UK is rolling out across its dealer network to coincide with major investments in Volvo’s range of vehicles.

‘Volvo Retail Experience’ (VRE) focuses on the space and design of the Maidstone dealership and will be designed to reflect Volvo’s Scandinavian-inspired values of “calm, clean lines with cool on the outside and warm on the inside”-style architecture.

Lipscomb, which has been selling new and used Volvos in the area for more than 35 years, is building the new showroom alongside their existing Forstal Road site to showcase the latest range of Volvo models.

It will also showcase used ‘Selekt’ Volvo cars from a separate covered showroom and external display area.
