Inchcape UK has completed the move to “the newest Mercedes Benz centre in the UK” following the completion of a multi-million pound dealership development in Coventry.
The AM100 retail group is now welcoming customers to the flagship showroom and service centre, on John Wigley Way, which replaces its previous Mercedes Benz retail centre which has operated in Wheler Road for over 20 years.
Greater floor space to accommodate Mercedes’ growing range of vehicles space and an improved aftersales offering have all been central to the build.
John McKenzie, franchise director for Inchcape Mercedes Benz, said: “After months of planning and investment we are really excited to open our new centre.
“Everything has been designed to deliver the ultimate Mercedes Benz customer experience.
As well as a full range of new Mercedes-Benz, AMG and smart vehicles, Inchcape’s new site will accommodate over 100 Mercedes Benz approved used vehicles.
It also brings to life Inchcape’s new retail concept, providing an enhanced digital customer experience, supported by a 165-inch digital video wall.
Inchcape, which proudly billed the site as “the newest Mercedes Benz centre in the UK” also revealed an aftersales area which includes 24 service bays, two express bays and an express service drop off tunnel.
The express service option gives customers the choice of having their vehicle serviced in half the time, with two of Inchcape’s highly trained, brand certified technicians working on the car at once, for extra speed and efficiency without compromising on expertise.
McKenzie said: “As well as luxurious surroundings, there’s more prestigious vehicles to explore, more service bays to get our customers back on the road as quickly as possible and the added convenience of extra parking and electric charging points. Everything has been created with our customers in mind.”
