GO Vauxhall part of Robins & Day by PSA Retail rebrand

GO Vauxhall has been rebranded under a Robins & Day rebrand designed to highlight the car retail operations’ status as part of the PSA Group.

A total of 10 former GO Vauxhall sites will be rebranded under the new moniker, to take the number of Robins & Day dealership sites to 62 across the UK – including 27 Peugeot, 16 Citroen, nine DS and ten Vauxhall.

PSA Group said in a statement that Robins & Day would also assume the trading name Robins & Day by PSA Retail as part of a change implemented “in order to align clearly with the rest of the PSA Retail company and to fulfil the commercial and economic performance ambitions of the group”.

In-line with change of trading name, Robins & Day has refreshed its logo to incorporate the PSA Retail branding.

James Weston, Robins & Day’s chief executive, said: “Our first year of results with Vauxhall has been promising. We are fully aligned with the ambitions of the Vauxhall Brand and we can see the potential across all channels moving as we progress together in 2019 and beyond.

“The unity of the four PSA Groupe brands together will further improve commercial results, and see us expand in line with our commercial strategy. I am more confident than ever that 2019 will be a great success for Robins & Day by PSA Retail.”

In 2018, Robins & Day was AM100 the AM100’s 14th-placed retail group, with a turnover last year of £1,078m and over 1,800 employees.

With the addition of its former Go Vauxhall sites, its new strategy is to enhance representation in major metropolitan areas, with class-leading facilities and customer service.

The addition of Vauxhall used car stock to the Robins & Day website will increase the advertised stock to over 4,000, providing customers with better accessibility to a larger choice of vehicles.
