Read Motor Group’s Grimsby Hyundai dealership was named Dealer of the Year while Richmond Motor Group won the Dealer Group of the Year award in the Korean carmaker’s annual awards.

Grimsby-based Read, which also claimed the Hyundai Customer Focus Dealer of the Year 2019 accolade with its franchise in Kings Lynn, was one of five dealerships to receive awards from the brand in a series of awards based on performance in the Hyundai Balanced Scorecard for 2019.

Read Motor Group and Richmond Motor Group both doubled up on 2019 Hyundai awards, Richmond also claiming the Hyundai Sales Dealer of the Year 2019 award at its Southampton dealership.

As AM prepares to celebrate the successes of retailers from across the sector at the AM Awards 2020 tomorrow night (February 13), Hyundai retailers were celebrating their success across a range of KPIs.

Mike Read, the managing director of Read Motor Group, took to LinkedIn to congratulate his award-winning Hyundai teams, describing his “immense pride” in winning two national awards from Hyundai.
