Motorpoint named best automotive company to work for

Motorpoint Ryan Cheyne Best Companies to Work For

The Best Companies League has placed independent car and van retailer Motorpoint as its top automotive company to work for.

It is the second time Motorpoint has topped the league table, coming top in 2021.

Motorpoint’s CEO Mark Carpenter said: “This year’s Automotive League has some great companies included in its rankings so to achieve the top spot is fantastic news. This is also the 8th successive year we have featured on the Best Companies to Work For list - our consistency in engaging our team is second to none.

“Our team are at the heart of our renowned Virtuous Circle operating model which affirms our success begins with a highly engaged team. Motorpoint’s award-winning customer service is also built from this strong team foundation so I am delighted that all our staff will be able to enjoy this important award.”   

Motorpoint ranked 49th in the overall Best Large Companies To Work For table.

In the Automotive category, Motorpoint beat retailers Mercedes-Benz South West (3rd), Baylis (5th) and Vindis Group (7th) to the top spot.

Kia Motors UK was placed second in the ranking, while Cox Automotive took fourth place.

The Best Companies organisation uses data and insights to help achieve positive change within the workplace. The Best Companies Automotive League Table represents organisations with over twenty-five full-time employees in the UK Automotive sector.
