TV's Charlotte Hawkins and comedian Simon Evans complete AM Awards 2021 line-up

AM Awards 2021 - host and comedian revealed

ITV Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins and comedian Simon Evans have completed the presenter and entertainment line-up for September’s showcase AM Awards 2021 event.

The two TV regulars will share the stage with winning car retail groups, dealerships and business leaders from shortlists published on AM (view part one and part two of the shortlist line-up here) last week.

Tables and individual tickets are being sold now for the AM Awards 2021, which takes place at the cavernous International Convention Centre (ICC) in Birmingham on September 8.

AM editor, Tim Rose, said: “The AM Awards evening promises to be a superb event, one that many have long looked forward to after the challenges of lockdowns and social restrictions.

ITV This Morning presenter Charlotte Hawkins will host the AM Awards 2021 on September 8Breakfast TV host Charlotte Hawkins is one of the presenters of ITV’s Good Morning Britain, having previously co-hosted Sky News’s Sunrise alongside Eamonn Holmes.

She is also part of the presenting team for ITV Racing and is one of the presenters on Classic FM.

Among her range of TV credits, Hawkins also lists appearances on Celebrity Juice, Britain’s Got More Talent, Pointless and as a contestant in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Comedian Simon Evans will provide the entertainment at the AM Awards 2021 on September 8Comedian Simon Evans is the writer of choice for Dara O Briain and a regular on panel shows The News Quiz and The Unbelievable Truth.

A regular at the Edinburgh Fringe and Montreal festivals, Evans has also appeared on McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, University Challenge: The Professionals, and The Comic Side of 7 Days.

He has also been a writer on Lee Mack’s sitcom Not Going Out, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, and for Lily Savage, and was a writer and co-creator of the panel show Argumental.
