The online event – sponsored by Marketing Delivery – is the latest in a series of ‘General Managers Guide to…’ webinars which offer insight into a number of specific areas of the sector, all of which can be viewed on demand via the AM website.

Car retailers can boost their businesses aftersales income and customer retention by embracing MOTs and the sector is approaching a crucial period for workshops keen to leverage the potebntial gains.

A news insight featuring in AM last year highlighted the fresh trend an MOT-driven September aftersales surge that could help forge the foundations of a strong second half financial performance.

Following the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency’s (DVSA’s) COVID-prompted MOT extensions in 2020 it was estimated that the new seasonal spike saw dealerships and garages faced with an estimated 580,000 more MOTs than in a normal September during 2021.
