Scotland has welcomed its fourth Porsche showroom after Peter Vardy officially opened its new Porsche Centre Perth facility.

Perth joins Peter Vardy's other Porsche dealership in Aberdeen, and Porsche Centres in Glasgow and Edinburgh in representing the German premium brand North of the border.

The Tweed Place facility occupyies a one and a half acre site beside the A9 and features a 13-car capacity display space and dedicated vehicle handover area.

A selection of approved pre-owned cars are also available for inspection and test drive.

The workshop area offers eight ramps and two Direct Dialogue bays, designed to support on the spot diagnosis and consultation. A number of E-Hybrid charging points are also available.

The customer experience is benefitted by a specification lounge and a hospitality area, complete  with fresh coffee and refreshments.

Peter Vardy Group’s chief executive, Peter Vardy, said: “We are very excited by this opportunity and anticipate that the new Centre will bring in customers from around the country and help generate more than £20m for the local economy.

“We have created more than 40 full-time positions, all fully Porsche-trained and focused on delivering the Porsche experience. In addition, during the construction period, around 140 additional jobs were supported.”

Porsche Cars GB’s managing director, Alexander Pollich, said: “Just a glance at our current model range clearly shows this is a very exciting time for everyone associated with Porsche, and we have further innovative sports cars yet to come.

“This development is a great example of the investment our partners are making across the business to deliver a first class Porsche experience, now and into the future.”
