Peugeot Citroen Retail Group UK chief executive David Peel is set to become Peugeot UK’s managing director as brand director Neil Moscrop takes early retirement.

Moscrop is set to retire at the end of March, with Peel stepping in as his replacement.

Speaking about his appointment, Peel said: “I am both proud and delighted to be Peugeot UK’s new managing director.

“The Peugeot product range has recently completed an accelerated invigoration phase, and today has its most appealing line up.

“I am really excited and passionate about the opportunity to lead Peugeot in the UK and will draw from my considerable retail experience to drive the brand forward.”

PSA UK director general, Stéphane Le Guével, said: “On behalf of everyone at Peugeot UK, I would like to thank Neil for his significant and valued contribution to Peugeot UK and the wider PSA Group for his many years of service, and I wish him a long and happy retirement.”
