BCA has appointed Stuart Gibbons to the new role of director of buyer services in a bid to drive forward the development of new services for customers and improve buyer experience.

Reporting to Stuart Pearson, BCA’s managing director UK remarketing, Gibbons will lead a team that uses data from across BCA to continually monitor and improve the buyer experience.

Pearson said: “This is a new role in BCA and marks the strategic importance of the function to the company.

“We have put the customer at the heart of our business and will use the latest data tools to monitor and continually improve customer services.

“Stuart brings a passion for innovation to the role and will bring new solutions to the market.”

Gibbons said: “BCA is using data to drive innovation across the business that will enhance the customer experience and drive efficiency. I am working with a fantastic team of people who are driving change.”

Gibbons joined BCA in January 2014 and as head of customer experience led the BCA Buyer Programme to improve processes for buyers and deliver a consistent quality of service across BCA’s customer contact centres.

This included the development of an enhanced buyer feedback process and using net promoter scores to measure buyer satisfaction, along with supporting BCA’s network with initiatives for buyers and shaping the digital journey.

Prior to joining BCA, Gibbons worked for over 20 years in commercial marketing, product management and customer experience roles and has a broad range of experience in manufacturing, digital advertising, financial services and insurance.
