Renault UK announces Dealer of the Year Awards winners

Vincent Tourette, Renault UK managing director

Renault UK has announced the winners of its Dealer of the Year Awards at a ceremony during its annual dealer conference.

The awards celebrate outstanding performance across Renault’s UK dealer network, and saw nearly 160 dealerships compete for the Dealer of the Year accolade.

The winner was judged on a spectrum of criteria, including sales and aftersales performance and customer satisfaction.

RMB Automotive of Northallerton triumphed as the eventual winner of the gold award, with Right Car of Grimsby, and Bells of Crossgar taking silver and bronze.

In May, representatives of RMB Automotive will travel to the global headquarters of Groupe Renault in Paris to join their gold-winning counterparts from other countries, and wil be personally congratulated by Carlos Ghosn, chairman and chief executive of Groupe Renault.

Renault UK’s managing director Vincent Tourette (pictured) said: “Having the right dealer partners has been core to the sustained growth that Renault has experienced in the UK in recent years.

“I would like to congratulate our winning dealerships on their commitment to the brand and the professionalism they have demonstrated in representing Renault at all levels in their business. They can feel very proud of what they have achieved.”

RMB Automotive’s managing director Robert Bennett said: “We are delighted to win the award and it’s very pleasing to have the official recognition for our efforts.

"Coupled with the variety, value and innovation of the Renault range, our drive to provide customers with the very best experience has allowed us to enjoy a great deal of success since opening in 2016.

“Renault is a brand that is certainly on the up and the performance of our Northalleton facility, together with the ease of working with Groupe Renault UK, has encouraged us to establish two further dealerships in 2018.”
