Automotive retail ecommerce specialist drivvn has appointed Lucy Trott as its new client director.

Trott is the latest appointment for drivvn, following the appointment of Sian Cutter as its new head of finance to support software as a service (SaaS) delivery to the sector.

She joins the company from Cap HPI where she led the OEM sales team and brings extensive experience in creating complex data and software solutions for automotive manufacturers, said drivvn.

Jacqui Barker, head of commercial at drivvn, said: “Lucy is a great addition to the drivvn commercial team. She brings a real passion to the digital transformation of the industry and long-standing relationships with OEMs that will support the roll-out of our modular approach to eCommerce.”

The eCommerce firm recently reported the shift to digital retailing during the COVID-19 pandemic had pushed sales through its platform to over £382m in 2020.

The drivvn business launched its new online vehicle sales platform in August 2020 and announced the appointment of Jacqui Barker as its head of commercial in February 2021.

The eCommerce firm aims to help OEMs and retailers develop the best online customer journeys through working to understand consumer behaviour changes and advise on how to embed online platforms.

Commenting on her new role, Trott said: “It’s great to have a new challenge and join one of the world’s leading automotive eCommerce teams.

"I am looking forward to working with customers old and new to help them re-define customer journeys ensuring they are ready for the future.”
