EMaC has acknowledged Laura Cartwright's "in-depth understanding" of industry issues as she was promoted into the role of operations director.

In her new role at the service plan specialist, Cartwright will oversee all operational aspects of EMaC’s strategy as the business expands its product offering, which now includes warranty products.

Cartwright joined EMaC in 2004 and has worked in all areas of its operations.

The company described Cartwright as ‘integral’ to establishing a culture committed to ‘excellent’ customer service.

John O’Donnell, managing director at EMaC, said: “I’m really pleased for Laura and delighted to appoint her operations director as we embark on another exciting chapter in EMaC’s development.

“Laura has been with EMaC from the very beginning and she embodies the DNA of our business and our commitment to providing excellent customer service.

“Laura has gained great respect across the organisation for her commitment to our values and goals and her in-depth understanding of the issues and challenges our automotive partners face; I look forward to seeing her progress in her new role.”

Commenting on her promotion, Cartwright said: “I’m delighted to move into the role of operations director - I’m passionate about EMaC and am incredibly proud of how the company continues to develop.

“Moving into the role of operations director provides me with an opportunity to further progress EMaC and to continue to provide our clients with the first-class consumer experience they rightly expect from us.”

Last year, EMaC promoted Liam Finney to the role of director of commercial partnerships
