James Birch promoted to head Leasys in the UK

Leasys, the business and personal leasing arm of FCA Bank, has promoted James Birch to the country manager role in the UK.

Birch was its national sales manager since 2019, prior to which he was commercial marketing and PR director for Free2Move Lease as that brand launched in the UK.

He replaces Sebastiano Fedrigo, who departs after three years for a new role with Free2Move Lease in Paris.

Fedrigo oversaw the introduction of the Clickar online auction platform in the UK, designed to remarket Leasys' vehicles reaching end-of-contract to the appropriate franchised networks.

At the time Fedrigo said it "marks the first step towards further cooperation between Leasys and the FCA retailer network" and promised to "continue to strengthen" the relationship.

Birch said: “This is an exciting time to be taking the helm at Leasys UK.

"The past five years have laid a strong foundation for the business with the introduction of a series of innovative products, including most recently Leasys Miles and Clickar, and with the creation of Stellantis we are even more confident of what the future holds.”

Stepping into Leasys UK's national sales manager role is David Robertson who will lead the contract hire sales teams.
