Great workshops and garages sought for 2022 AM Awards

Technicians move around a busy FCA Group workshop

High-performing car or van service workshops are urged to put themselves forward for the 2022 AM Awards, following the introduction of categories aimed specifically at the service, maintenance and repair sector.

For this year AM has replaced the Best Aftersales Team award with two new awards: one for Independent Workshop of the Year, and one for Franchised Workshop of the Year.

They aim to recognise workshops which are not just solidly profitable, but which are also delighting their customers, growing their business and looking at how they can improve further in the years ahead.

"Great workshops are what helps keep Britain moving. They understand their customers' needs, invest in their technicians, provide a well-rounded service and build a reputation for expertise and value," said AM editor Tim Rose.

"There are many such repair garages around the country, and the AM Awards judges are looking forward to hearing about these businesses."

Workshops wishing to enter are advised to begin their entry submission to our online system by mid-January and save it so they can add to it at their convenience before submitting the final draft at the end of January.

In 2022 the AM Awards will be held at a new location in London, at the Park Plaza Westminster Hotel, for the first time.

The gala dinner will be on May 12
