EMaC has promoted sales development manager John Glancy to the role of national sales manager for Scotland with the aim of growing the company’s footprint north of the border.

The service plan specialist originally appointed Glancy in 2016 and said in a statement announcing his promotion that he had since has played a “pivotal role” in the onboarding of new clients and successfully promoting the company’s range of aftersales solutions.

Among the latest additions to the EMaC product line-up is a new Subscription Warranty product.

In his new role, Glancy will be responsible for growing the company’s footprint in Scotland while continuing to help develop consumer retention and dealership profitability within existing partnerships, EMaC revealed.

Managing director John O’Donnell said: “John works tirelessly to support our growing customer base in Scotland, he is committed to ensuring EMaC’s dealer partners maximise their retention and profit potential – this promotion is due recognition of the progress John has made.

“We are excited about our Scottish business for 2023 and beyond, especially the benefits EMaC’s innovative Warranty product range can bring to our dealer partners.”

Glancy said: “I am thrilled to be moving into the role of National Sales Manager for Scotland. I’m looking forward to starting the new year getting stuck in and working alongside our dealer partners to see how we can further help them increase consumer retention and see their revenues grow.”

Glancy’s promotion follows Mike Foster’s recent promotion to the role of national sales director and the 2021 promotion of Laura Cartwright to the role of operations director.
