Ennis & Co, the global automotive and mobility executive search company, has announced an expansion of its services with the establishment of three separate business divisions within a newly formed Ennis & Co Group.

The Ennis & Co Executive Search division will continue the company’s core work of helping many of the world’s leading automotive and mobility brands to appoint their senior leaders.

Alongside this, Ennis & Co Intelligence will provide "bespoke research services" to identify talent pools for businesses looking to recruit outside the traditional automotive sector or in new locations. It will also provide market insights such as salary trends and competitor analysis.

The third arm of the Group, Ennis & Co Investment, will build on the company’s knowledge of the automotive and mobility market, business know-how and global networks to provide guidance and financial investment for early-stage start-ups. This will be officially launched in early 2024.

Lynda Ennis, co-founder and chief executive of Ennis & Co Group, said: “The combination of a chronic skills shortage and the rapid transformation that is taking place within the industry means businesses are having to look outside the sector or in new locations to find the talent they need.

“That is not always easy, and more and more of our clients have been engaging us to provide intelligence-based talent research to help them make informed decisions.

“As executive search specialists, we are plugged into the talent market and have valuable real-time data, so it is a natural extension of our business to be able to offer clients a dedicated research service.

“In the course of our work, we also get to see the amazing amount of innovation and entrepreneurship that is happening across the industry, and we look forward to playing our part by providing business expertise and financial support to help bring great ideas to market.”

As part of the group changes, Rebekah Razza has been appointed practice lead for executive search, while Tarryn May becomes practice lead for the Intelligence division. Both have been promoted internally from senior researcher positions and have significant experience of the talent market for automotive and mobility roles.

Ennis & Co Group has also welcomed five new colleagues to expand the team as part of the new changes in the last month.
