Swansway has capped off a busy year of fundraising with its annual Christmas gift Santa Patrol charity drive, which has reached its 10 year anniversary.

The dealer group has worked with their well-established charity partners to donate Christmas gifts to those in need.

Items donated have ranged from toys for babies, children and teens, to Christmas food supplies, and warm winter clothing.

As part of Swansway’s continued efforts to support their charity partners with the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, the car dealer group has tailored its donations to each charity's specific needs, liaising directly with their charity partners to create bespoke donations.

Alongside their Santa Patrol, Swansway also hosted its Christmas Jumper Day on December 8 in support of causes selected by each dealership team.

Many of these causes saw a crossover with Swansway’s charity partners.

Dealerships such as Stoke Audi supported The Gingerbread Centre, while Motor Match Bolton supported Fortalice and Volkswagen Van Centre Wrexham donated to Family Friends.

David Smyth, Swansway Motor Group director, said: “Christmas should be a time of joy and celebration for everyone, no matter what your circumstances may be.

“Our Swansway Santa Patrol aims to spread some Christmas magic to those children and families who need it the most. From the Swansway Family to yours, we wish all a Merry Christmas.”

Swansway’s Santa Patrol rounds up Swansway Motor Group’s charity investment in 2023 to a close, seeing the group donate almost £80,000 to a range of charitable causes.

From donations to foodbanks to supporting their team members with their fundraising and partnering with four community foundations across the country.

Smyth added: “It’s important to us all at Swansway that we are active within the communities that have welcomed and supported us over the last 20 years, and 2023 has been no exception.

“This year we have further strengthened relationships with existing charity partners, while also building new ones and we look forward to continuing our work in 2024.”
