Paragon Automotive is to double capacity for its corporate PDI service to meet dealer demand.

The service helps dealers exploit the growing leasing market, a sector that showed nearly 12 per cent year-on-year growth in October and is worth £25.7billion a year.

Paragon is expanding the corporate PDI service to handle twice the annual volume on its sites across the UK.

Paragon provides dealers with new car inspection and PDI, vehicle preparation, delivery and customer handover and de-fleet services.

It is designed to provide a flexible service that can quickly scale to meet changes in demand, and seasonality.

Ian Carlisle (pictured), chief executive officer of Paragon, said: “By outsourcing the preparation, delivery and management of these vehicles it provides dealer groups with a scalable and responsive solution that frees up valuable workshop space for other, more profitable activities.

“With the breadth of services that Paragon provides, our role in the supply chain is to keep the whole industry moving and ensure that we are meeting our customers’ needs of tomorrow, today, through technology and service levels.”

Paragon handles vehicle handover and de-fleet services, and provides real-time monitoring through its iSight system.

Paragon Automotive currently provides corporate PDI services for Sytner, Benfield, Citygate Volkswagen, and Windrush Volkswagen.
