Automotive video technology provider CitNOW has been named 19th in the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100.

The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 names the fastest-growing privately owned tech companies in the UK and the list is published each year in September and followed by an awards dinner in November.

The ranking of CitNOW in the top 20 fastest-growing tech firms is based on the past three years of sales figures as the company continues its rapid global expansion.

It is listed as having made £5,653,000 in sales, following business growth in the last years of 126.62%. It has 69 staff.

CitNOW works with 91 of the top 100 dealer groups including 31 manufacturer programmes.

Currently CitNOW is available in 16 European markets and has manufacturer partnership programmes in the US, Far East and Australia.

Andrew Howells, Founder and Chairman at CitNOW, said: “This result is indicative of the value of personal video to help our customers deliver transparency and trust.

“Our first entry to the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 in the top 20 follows the establishment of CitNOW in Europe. It’s a reflection of the positive response to our video technology in automotive sales and the aftermarket.”

CitNOW recently predicted that by 2020 the entire process of buying and selling a car would be by video and published the findings in a white paper which can be downloaded at www.citnow.co.uk/white-paper/.

Vehicle tracking provider Trak Global is at number 49 in the Tech Track 100, consumer review provider Feefo at 55, car finance specialist Zuto at 65 and electric car charger Chargemaster at 66.
