Moneypenny has appointed former Marks & Spencer IT specialist Mel Carlen as its new head of IT services.

Described by the Wrexham-based lead management provider to the car retail sector as an “expert in the delivery of transformation projects that embrace technology”, Carlen spent 17 years at the high street retailer in a variety of roles from IT change management to heading up their contact centre commercial function.

In her new role, Carlen has been charged with leading the fast-growing IT team and developing the AI-led technology Moneypenny is currently developing.
