Volkswagen UK announces lead management partnership with RAPID RTC

Digital lead management provider RAPID RTC has struck-up a new partnership with Volkswagen UK which will see its software adopted by the German manufacturer’s UK car dealer network.

RAPID RTC, formerly known as DMT Development Systems, said that the move would enable Volkswagen’s retailers to “guarantee a 100% response rate for online enquiries”.

To help Volkswagen’s UK Retailers get the most out of the platform, the business will be offering dealers guidance from its UK-based Dealer Care team.

Patrick McGillycuddy, head of sales at Volkswagen UK, said: “It’s no secret that the automotive retail industry is seeing a wholesale shift in the customer journey, with an increasing number of customers seeking to make their enquiries via the digital showroom.

“Volkswagen has long recognised this trend and, via its award-winning Blended Retail activity, has established a compelling and highly successful online retail provision. Now, we are pleased to be working with RAPID RTC to further streamline this.”
