A team of intrepid drivers from Cazana are preparing to take on an epic London to Lands End charity challenge in the firm’s company mascot microcar, Bamby.

Departing from Cazana’s headquarters in Moorgate, London on October 18 and driving for four days to reach Land’s End, the fund-raising effort in aid of Prostate Cancer UK and Ilfracombe Round Table will span 339 miles in total.

Cazana revealed that there will be several other microcars involved in the drive, including a Tuk Tuk which will be driven by one of Cazana’s Business Development Executives, Kieran Fisher.

Cazana chief executive, Tom Wood, said: “We have had Bamby, our company Mascot, for a while now and we thought it was time to stretch her legs on a road trip.

“She’s been on some nice adventures since we bought her in 2016 but this will be her longest trip out of the office and we’re  both excited and nervous to get her on the road.

“It is shaping to be an incredible weekend and at Cazana we’re delighted to be able to do something we love such as driving to raise funds for these two incredible charities.”

The event aims to raise as much money as possible for Prostate Cancer UK and Ilfracombe Round Table.

Prostate Cancer UK is funding research to increase the survival rate of people diagnosed with prostate cancer and Ilfracombe Round Table is a group of young men looking to make a difference in their community.

They support the local community by raising funds, helping individuals that cannot be helped by larger charities and volunteering at various events.
