BCA Nottingham’s Top Car Sale showed further signs of strength in the luxury and supercar sector as online bidders accounted for 85% of its auction stock.

The sale, held on January 18, featured a wide selection of prestige, performance and upper executive cars including Bentley, Ferrari, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Range Rover, Aston Martin and Jaguar. 

Snow made travel to the auction problematic, which could result in the high number of customers via  BCA Live Online.

The success of the sale follows a recent BCA report, announcing ‘strong demand for luxury and supercars’ in 2017 sales performance

With competitive bidding both online and in-lane, 64 of the 75 cars on offer were sold via BCA Live Online equating to 85% of the total sale. 

In total, the 75 car Top Car section generated £3 million for an average selling price in excess of £41,000.

Underlining the demand for premium and executive stock, BCA Nottingham sold a remarkable 275 prestige and premium vehicles on the day for a total of £5 million.
