Nationwide rewards award winners with Italy trip

Nationwide's 2018 winners

Vehicle repair group Nationwide has rewarded its high achievers with an expenses-paid weekend of sun, celebration and Porsche Carrera Cup racing in Italy.

Although it supported Nationwide-backed Porsche racer Dino Zamparelli in round six of the race series, the trip marked the achievements of winners of the Nationwide Annual Awards, which recognises staff who demonstrate the ‘One Nationwide, One Team’ spirit and who’ve gone above and beyond to deliver excellent results for Nationwide and their customers.

Nationwide chief executive Michael Wilmshurst said: “The winners of these awards have shown incredible commitment to Nationwide, they have gone above and beyond to achieve fantastic results and are setting an excellent example to their fellow team members. I was delighted to host the winners in Monza, and what a well-deserved reward it was.”

Zamparelli took the race win on day one, and finished 2nd on day two.

The winners of the Nationwide Annual Awards were:

Most Improved Bodyshop – NJCC Scunthorpe

Bodyshop of the Year – Glasgow Rapid Repair

Bodyshop Manager of the Year – Nick Hedges, Yeovil

NCRC Technician of the Year – David Roughley, Sheffield

Motorglass Technician of the Year – Max Boyce

Mobile Repair Technician of the Year – Bremner Trotter, Edinburgh

Estimator of the Year – George Charalambides, Brooklands

Customer Service

NCRC Customer Advisor of the Year – Glenda Wright

Motorglass Customer Advisor – Charlotte Tivey

Mobile Repair Customer Advisor – Vicki Bolton

NWS Customer Advisor – Alyson Duncalf

Outstanding Achievement Award  - Darren Neagle, communications and engagement business partner, and Tom Johnson, divisional director for London
