Top automotive search terms and websites

Experian has revealed a snap shot of the top performing automotive websites and search terms.

Alistair Scullion, managing director of Experian Automotive, said: "Accurate, real-time online intelligence is essential for automotive businesses operating in the digital age.

"Knowing the most popular websites and the most searched for key words can give valuable insight into a customer’s online journey enabling dealers to create effective online marketing strategies and identify threats and opportunities as they develop.

"We’re hearing more and more from dealers that consumers are willing to travel 100 miles plus to secure a deal they have found online. Understanding how to use your website to attract these consumers is increasingly important in the battle for used car sales."
